My sister Claire used to sing this song so beautifully, she died as well in 1995 at the age of 37. Ironic, hmmmmm

As many others have mentioned, this is a Patsy Cline classic. Beautiful song! Check out the history of the song, and you will find that Patsy did not warm to it right away. That’s the way the world of recording goes. I’m pleased to see that more and more people are acknowledging that the song was written by Willie Nelson. Many people know Mr. Nelson as a performer. I’ve always been impressed with his song writing. To write a song is never easy. To write a hit song is extremely difficult.

I agree. The late Karen Carpenter also had an amazing voice, crystal clear…I’m saying this because Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter, and Cass Elliot (mama Cass), all died way too young and had/have incredible voices. It would be nice to know…that maybe they are somewhere in the Universe, heaven perhaps, all of them singing songs with millions of back up angels…it just gives me goose bumps to think of that and also gives me goose bumps to hear either one of those three.
